Railwaymodeling
BULGARIA, takes
the initiative to collect and systemise the historical
information and photo materials, in this way helping the
Museum Activity of the Bulgarian Railways. Exposed to
robbing by metal stealers and processes of corrosion,
many of the unique by their pith and marrow steam engine
machines still stand at depots and blind alleys. Each
railway fan knows what a historical relic
is a nowadays working steam locomotive. That is why by
a modest round of articles, we shall make you familiar
with some of the restored and working locomotives, as
well as with the ones waiting to be repaired. We shall
meet you to the people standing behind all of that. To
the efforts they put on and the environment they work
in.

Some
time ago it was considered that the two 1918 and 1919
locomotives were destroyed. It came they were not,
indeed. At Varna depot starts the restoration of one
of the most rarely series' representatives in BDZ.
Unfortunately no serial numbers have left to show
us which one of the survived is she.

Although
we might not succeed to overview all the subjects of the theme,
our modest aim is to create a pleasant Internet place. A place where
all the Bulgarian Railways’ fans will feel at home. A site at which
everyone will manage to find the information he needs. We also seriously
stress on the museum and historical activity, as well as to the
people, standing behind. Let us hope we shall find people sharing
the same view as well as ones who will comfortably feel here. Enjoy

One
more time the cameras are focused on this magnificent machine.
Later on her appearance in the motion pictures, which took
a couple of months at Podujene railway station, she will
participate in another movie! The place is well known: "Zaharna
Fabrika" railway station. Date: 03 August.
