The passenger steam locomotives of the 11-00 series have been manufactured by the Henschel-Cassel and Borsig-Berlin factories and have been delivered in Bulgaria in the period 1941 - 1943. According to the standardisation programme in 1939, the 11-00 series’ locomotives are a basic for the BDZ type. Bulgaria gets 22 units of that series.
